35mm Film – once used by every Photographer, now nearly Forgotten

THE LIFE & DEATH OF FILM PHOTOGRAPHY

Here’s a dramatic portrayal of the life and demise of that once much loved, and almost ubiquitous, image medium – the 35mm film.
( An alternative title might be: “Digital killed the 35mm Film Star” 🙂  )

The story is not one of complete tragedy, as 35mm film photography is now experiencing a limited comeback; particularly among fine art photographers.

The footage, which is a reasonably impressive bit of theatre, is available on YouTube and comes from a link on the PictureCorrect website.
It’s just a little short of 5 minutes long, so preparing a batch of popcorn might be a bit of overkill. 🙂
Enjoy.
